CHERRY BOMB : Father & Daughter build. (red 91 NA)

This was my first Miata. A 1991 Classic red (automatic) Miata. Now, before anyone goes off on this being "not a manual" bull, it still drove like a Miata. Still had the suspension, and top down enjoyment of a Miata.

I bought it in 2005, from the original owner, a co-worker of mine. She had 85,000 miles, and came with a matching hardtop. Price $2300.00

She had the original suspension (shot), and a few rust bubbles on the rockers, and a wood interior kit. Other than that, she was in excellent condition.

The first thing I did back then was swap out the saggy original shocks & springs, for a set of Bilsteins from a 99 NB, rebuilt and painted the brakes, and painted the stock daisy's.

Oh, that WAS how she looked back in 2006-2009.

She was lots of fun to work on.

I drove her year round in New England.

And unfortunately, she didn't survive unscathed.

I was side swiped in the Winter of 2011. damage that ran all the way down the passenger's side of the car.

Did the dude in the background brush against it? Because he's about to do the same to that Explorer...
