    put a new head on. wont start.

    My old head had a leaking valve, and the stem seals were leaking so it was time for it to be replaced. I purchased a returned from a local head shop and put it on today. I also did the main seal/ timing belt at the same time. I torqued to main bolt to 126 ft lbs with the locktite. Set timing using the notch in the pulley I and e at 12:00 and the notches pointing at the marks.

    When cranking it shudders like 1 or 2 cylinders are getting spark, but it doesn't start. Checked compression and there is 185 psi on all cylinders. Spark plugs are wet after cranking. I't ran fine, if a little rough, before. Any ideas what could be wrong?

    Fuel fouled? Dry the plugs and see what that does.

    Check your ignition. Go back through the engine wiring harness, check your grounds!

    Normally you would scribe a mark between the head and the CAS to get the timing in the ball park but since you have a different head that wouldn't help you. Try moving the CAS back and forth as your timing is probably way off.

    Clean or replace the spark plugs as they could be fouled by now.

    First thing to check is that the timing belt is on correctly. It is a common mistake to be a tooth or two off.
    95 in pieces, but good pieces.

    ...and this may be a silly question but are you sure the spark plugs are in the right order?

    I have strong spark on all cylinders. Injectors are firing. How big of a deal would getting the reluctor plate for the crank sensor backwards be? No CAS as this is a 2000 hence the nb section.

    Also plugs are wired to the cylinders stamped on the coil pack.

    Are you getting any codes? If that crank sensor plate isn't right, it won't fire.

    Figured it out. Crank sensor connector wasn't fully seated. Running like a top now
