    Deals Gap May 20-22

A few of us are going to Deals Gap in May. This during Zdayz. Much better group than "Miatas at the Gap". If anyone is in the neighborhood, we'll be staying at Fontana. Two NA's, a twin-turbo 350z, and a WRX.

    Why better than MATG?

Zdayz is really geared toward modded cars and enthusiasts. MATG has turned into a bunch of elderly stock NC owners coming to get t-shirts.

    The "official" Zdayz video:

Video gave me chills haha so awesome thtas such a different group of people than MATG.

I am still going to go to MATG just because I enjoy seeing miatas and its a far trip for me or I would make both. But one thing I was VERY disappointed about last year was just how many old guys with there stock cars went, barely any car there made me go "WOW".

Z days looks like a much better time so I def see what your saying now.

I think a lot of these guys are from Triangle Z club. I recognize a few faces from the THSCC/Z club meetings and track events.

I wonder how different it would be though? Cops will still be around and I think the biggest thing with MATG is the number of people that go really. This will probably pull lots of people too. Just a though, but I certainly think Tail of the Dragon with or without a club is fun!

It's very different. I've been to three MATG, and two ZDAYZ. MATG is a bunch of people who bought "cute little convertibles" and want to hang with same. Lots of autocrossers and track rats show up to ZDAYZ. You'd be amazed what the large charity donation does for LEO attitude.

It's actually the 18th - 20th. The other date was because I jumped the gun and they hadn't updated the website from 2011. So, it is actually a weekend.
