I have a ride coming up Monday - weather permitting. It's going to be a few roadsters and 350z's. Be running the foothills of Alexander County (near Statesville). Some nice roads and no salt. Mostly be a quick pace. We're meeting for lunch at Crossroads Grill on the north side of lake Hickory

Nothing's close to Laurinburg... It's about 2 hours from Charlotte. I'm looking forward to some CCR events, though.

    CCR?

Laurinburg has an airport which THSCC uses for autocrosses (And its about 2 hours away from Raleigh also, a lot of autocross events are within 2 hours of this area). One is coming up February 19th I think, how does that sound?

Are there any weekday evening GTGs in Charlotte? I will be there next week on business and would prefer meeting some new Miata folks over drinking in the hotel bar by myself.

I'm more than an hour North of Charlotte. How long are you going to be here?

As of right now, I am totally free Tuesday evening, could also meet up later in the evening on Wednesday, and will likely be free Thursday evening.

Unfortunately, I can't make it any of those nights - Tuesday is wing night with friends in Lenoir, and I'm playing pool both Wed & Thurs in Hickory. I can't believe others haven't stepped up. So much for Southern hospitality, I guess.

What area of Charlotte will you be in?

Bummer... I am staying in uptown, but will have a rental and I would be OK driving up to 30 minutes.
