Mine was lowering springs (Christmas present from my sister, she bought them for me before I even bought the car!) Then I think it was a shift boot....it all went down hill from there and I've spent a small fortune on my car now!

Once some general maintenance was out of the way I made a trunk protection plate for the driver's quarter panel. Had a bad experience with another car that had an exposed quarter panel in the trunk, wasn't about to have another.

    1. BBS wheels
    2. Tokico Illuminas (didn't care for them, but were better than the blown shocks on the Montego)
    3. Shock bar (OBX, not that good)
    4. Mosterflow Intake (not needed unless one has a stand alone)
    5. Enthuza Exhaust.
    6. FM Sway Bars
The first upgrade the Montego got was Fat Cat Motorsports 600/375 Coilovers.

All the changeable maintenance items ( plugs, filters, etc )....then a Roadster exhaust, so I can enjoy the sound.

I did the normal maintenance, then for my first upgrade did brakes and intake.

I did maintenance first. The first upgrade was to coilovers. The stock shocks were in poor shape when I got mine.

OEM lip, I won from the first Christmas KINOD. I think Tam (ExHondaMan) gave it away.

I fitted a Mini Cooper Cravenspeed shift knob to my NB.

Moved from the NB section to Miata General Chat. It fits better here with all the generations chiming in.

First mod was a miataroadster angled short shifter for the 6 speed, with a blox weighted shift knob. zero regrets whatsoever. both are awesome

First upgrade was tint. Always a must for me because I like the privacy and sun protection.

Went with Suntek HP charcoal 5% all around.

Interesting idea on the tint. I thought about it at one time since I live in Miami but the roof and windows are always down. No sense in getting it tinted then.

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum for a roadster owner, most buy the car for the top down/open top motoring aspect.

I always have the top and windows up, so the tint keeps me nice and cool inside plus the privacy is great.

15% Suntek HP charcoal on the front windows only. As much as I liked the 5%, night driving in dimly lit areas was just not ideal.

If you always have the top and windoews up, then why buy a convertible?

Just saw you have a 2014 PRHT. Still I wouldn't buy a convertible unless I planned on having roof off most of the time. Have fun with it.
