It would take a bit of work, but would look fabulous! (especially behind that Moto-lita)

I have had the conversation with Adam before. I know the cost, I just need to make up my mind. I figured if I bought the cluster that would be motivation enough to make up my mind.

    MGB

    E-Type

My center console gauges for reference. I want them all to match more or less.

That STB sat on a shelf in my garage for ~2 years. I was too lazy to clean it up before shipping it

Well it made a very nice driveability difference for me. I notice very minute things and am very picky about audible noises. I absolutely hated my racing beat elbow intake and removed it on sound alone.

I had an RB intake on a previous car. I didn't like the "oooooo" sound at idle. I liked the growl while accelerating, though.

I put a STB off a 99 10AE on my Italia. It seemed to calm the cowl shake a tad more than the FM bar

Little known secret . The interior of the Mazda Cosmo 110S on top of the blatant British cars of the era have been a large inspiration in where I want my car to be. I plan on getting some custom made seat skins eventually to emulate this look. I just need to 100% figure out what seats I want.

Black and white hounds-tooth inserts are pretty sweet.

Thanks to 71/72/73 Bacon I now have a set of oem Jaguar E Type (xke) speaker covers. They look very similar to the miata oem ones except it has a chrome ring around it.

Here is a step by step as to how I accomplished what I did.

Step 1. Remove the speaker covers from the car door panels. My write up is specifically for a 90-93 interior.

Step 2. Remove the grill over the speaker cover panel. To do this I used a small hose pick with a U shape. It popped right off with 0 damage.

Step 3. Measure where you need to drill. Then drill and place the speaker covers in and tighten.

Step 4. After the speaker covers are installed you need to cut off a large portion of the stud. If you do not trim the studs it will punch a nice hole in the speakers. I just used some bolt cutters and some sand paper to sand everything down nicely.

Step 5. Install them in the car and reap the benefits of more shiny chrome.

Thanks Adam. One of these days when my ducks are in a row, you be getting some correspondence from me in regards to custom gauges.

I guess I have not kept this thread up to date much. I had an issue with my Smiths gauges. The voltmeter delaminated from the face. i contacted Smiths and they were completely baffled. Apparently I have the only Smiths clock and voltmeter ever made that has a green backlight. They have to re custom make the gauge faces for me.

I finally got some shorty mud flaps and I made an instagram account. It turns out I have had one since Instagram was first released and I did not realize it. At the time I thought it was just some iPhone app to make photos look prettier.

Then a few days ago I went for a nice drive and snapped some awesome photos while the sun was setting.
