are the american and uk instrument covers the same on Miata MX5?

we have designed and aftermarket part that fits over the top of the original binnacle cover and i was just wondering if the american binnacle was the same as the uk left hand drive ones?

    heres a couple of pics.

If it's a left hand drive car on both then they should be the same. It's only the right hand drive cars that are different.

FWIW, I'm trying to put together something for LHD vehicles (at least for the NA8 models, not sure if it's interchangeable for other years), but it's a project I'm working on in my spare time which has not been very abundant lately.
