Maybe I just change the shift turret as well. Guess I'll need some gear oil, and some nice instrument to get the old oil out and new in.

I have the upper, lower shifter boots, and the white-nylon "thing". Those items I knew about.

Insulation I did not know about.
I found this drawing on IL motorsport.
    Capture.PNG

Does your second picture from the bottom show the new and the old one, or is it supposed to be two?

The picture at the bottom I dont get to match with the parts IL got.

Thank you for pointing out all the stuff I've missed. Keep it coming.

You can use a turkey baster or syringe to suck out the old oil.

This picture shows the new, and old for comparison.

There is a 10"X1" strip of insulation that wraps around the rubber boot as well. (NAB 705542)

Guess I could make the insolation myself, with a sound insulation mat?

Since my emission was way to high, I try to read messages from the diagnose port.

    Tip for next step?

Here are the 5 most common reasons:
    1. Dirty air filter - reduces air in your air/fuel mix resulting in a rich burn. This is the most common cause of high CO.
    2. Bad O2 sensor - incorrect reading of O2 in the exhaust causes higher consumption of fuel
    3. Bad MAP sensor - if the ECU can't read it, it uses default settings and those could dump too much fuel - also check vacuum lines since this could read wrong due to low vacuum pressure
    4. Bad TPS sensor - could give a reading too high, causing too much fuel
    5. Bad ECT sensor - car runs too cold and dumps too much fuel for a rich burn

Thank you, for a really nice checklist.

Would not 2-5 give error messages?

I'm not sure. I would think so, but not certain.

Think I did misplace one of the insulation.

    @93120 miles.

It did make a difference, both on feeling and noise.

    Fixed my wrong doings

Put the insulation on top where it seems to belong.

    New brake fluid

Did change brakefloud for the first time.

    Did also change to these

all around. A good solution when working alone on the brakes. Exciting with new screws in old calipers. I was a match, not a perfect one but still good enough (I hope) .

    Bought them here og here.

Was left in this state last night.

Did write down remaining issue on the cardboard. Tasks that I need to do before driving, not new stuff. Checking wheel bolts, air pressure and brake fluid level.

Should be ready for my first track day with this car.

Speed-bleeders are great. Even with someone else, it makes the job so much quicker as you don't have to wait for them to tighten and loosen the bleed screw. They just have to loosen it once and tighten it once.
