    For the record, Miata speed bleeders have a long history of failing very quickly, mine included. When they fail you barely notice it as your pedal will get a tiny bit mushier every day and before you know it, it's like stepping on a dead octopus. There's a bunch of info over on Miata.net about them sucking and loads of people replacing them with OEM to fix the problem.

    I'm curious if it is a brand issue. I've used Speedbleeder brand for years with no issues on multiple cars. Is the issue with Russell, or other brands? I'll keep watching mine as I haven't had them on the Miata for long. My last set was on a VW GTI that I used them for 5 years.

    First thing for everything

    First time for me...



    getting the car up in the air.

    I'm fed up trying to get old calipers working.
    Ordered all four new.

    So next project is to change all calipers, brake lines with steel version from IL Motorsport. And new brake pipes with new ones made of copper.

    First time for me doing this as well.

    Wrote this long post on another forum. Just have to post it on the coolest forum on da internet.

    What I have planned for the car.

    My focus is a race-inspired car that I can take thrust to take on any tour any time.
    Upgrades and fixes shoud be done probarly and hopefully only once.



    Before MOT
    -Make brake pipe and mount it.
    -Put together the brakes.
    -Fix emission.
    -Mount NoPro.

    Deliver the car on the most thrustworhty Miata garage for periodic control(MOT) and fixing rust!

    Coolinf
    -New radiator, Fans og cooling reroute Kit.

    Mounts parts that is laying around
    -Opel Speedster/Vauxhall vx220 seats


    -6UL's


    -Master sylinder bracket.


    -BossFrog ClearView Maxx


    -Frog arms




    Got Values for max load from the mx5 not Miata.
    -Order appointment.

    Misc issues
    -Smaller steering wheel with airbag..
    -Noises in chassis
    -Windows lifts.
    -Small triangle windows is leaking.
    -Mount rubber bracket between door and mirror.
    -Rear subframe brace.
    -Butterfly
    -Add LSD.
    -New clutch(also stored in the basement).
    -New Bushingspoly or rubber. Worth reading here.


    Chassis.
    Today Blue Koni springs and yellow Koni damper. Looks good, but is shit.

    Decent upgrade.
    Ground control from FM.
    Bump stops
    FM Rear shock mounts.

    Geek upgrade.
    -Tein adjustable based on GPS.

    Forced feeding => Rotrex. Maybe one size up in supercharger so I'm ready for a build engine.
