Here is the Craig's List ad I saw a few days ago. Poorly written, no pictures... but, it did say "1991 MIata" and one the side box... GREEN! and he's asking $500

I contacted the seller via email immediately. two days later he sent me 11 pictures.

Yup, I call back and tell him I want the car!

I just bought a British Racing Green Miata for $500.00... with a HARD TOP! (and a new tan soft top)

I'm cleaning her up now, as the previous owner did NOT know what he had.

Wasabi, is this BRG#2 for you, or just a reference as to how you came into Wasabi? Either way, great deal... I paid (literally) 10x that for mine, and still felt I did okay!

Still a northern car. Makes me wonder if my 2000 shell would be worth something to someone up north who wanted to replace their rusted-out tub.

This is my second BRG, and it's in much better condition over all than WASABI was.

This BRG was Ziebart'd so there is only a little bit of surface rust on the underside. she is in amazing condition.

Will do. I feel the need to go through her now, and bring her back to glory first.

Starts up right up, sounds great (stock exhaust with all the heat shields still attached). The only thing she needs is a new rear main seal & new clutch.

Holy sh**... Deal of the year right there! Damn! Congrats!
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.
