At this point so many bikes have had parts swapped it can be difficult to tell exactly what bike it is without looking at the frame and engine serial numbers. To my knowledge, only the first year CB350K0 models came from the factory with rubber tank pads. All subsequent model year CB350, all CL350 and SL350 did not have them. People like the CL high pipes so I see them on CBs all the time. If the rubber tank pads are just stuck on with adhesive then chances are they're aftermarket. The K0 tanks have special frames to hold the factory rubber pads. Without seeing your bike up close, I can't tell if your bike has an original tank with rubber pads added, or if it is an early CB350K0 tank that's been repainted.

So is your bike a race bike? Or a street bike? I see side number plates but also a headlamp. I know AHRMA Novice History Production Lightweight class bikes look pretty much like yours. The rules allow you to keep the headlamp but you've got to put tape over it before you cover it with your front number plate. Let me know if you have any questions as I've thought a lot about them as I've slowly turned my street bike into a F250/ V1 style race bike.

Ah okay. I like the CL pipes too Just happen to buy a CL, but would have taken a CB with high pipes just as well. Well, I peeled back the rubber a bit just now and it does have the metal framework holding the pads. It looks like it wasn't painted too well the last time it was done.

It's registered for street use, but one of the previous owners did race it, I'm just not sure in what series. He died of melanoma, then the bike got picked up by his friend, whom I bought it from. So, unfortunately there isn't a lot known about the bike aside from what I can visually see. There's a scrutineering sticker with the FIM checkbox left blank, a marker "X" in the AMA checkbox and a hole punch through the RWB checkbox. Also an SCTA sticker, 2013 AMA sticker and a 65th Bonnieville Speed Week Member sticker. I think it got raced on the salt.

I'll let you know if I got any questions. I'm gonna start reading hondatwins.net and some other forums. Currently my tail lamp doesn't work at all, so my friends and I were trying to trace down the problem with a multimeter last night. Not ready to get into racing just yet, as the last couple days have been the most I've ever ridden a motorcycle in my life.

Cut off the tabs on the metal vacuum line above, put the star sharks back on the car for KINOD 11th anniversary. Belts are showing on these tires and the TRA Kyoto's Broke life. Passed smog yesterday with no problem (except for having to go to 5 different smog shops, fuck you California), then I went to grab new tags for the car. No huge updates.

Well, just like that, 99% of my photos are gone from the thread. I re-uploaded a bunch on imgur and started to arrange them in date order by hand, but got tired. Don't know why imgur did away with that feature last year.

Let me know if you find a better service (or upload them here as attachments) and need time to edit all your posts. Your pictures are too good to omit.

Use Flickr to host your photos, they offer a free version and paid version

I need to check my thread to make sure all my images are still there as I used Imgur too

This sucks! I didn't realize what you were talking about till someone on another forum brought it up. That means most the photos in Warbird's build thread are gone as well. $399/year for 3rd party hosting is highway robbery!!!!

Had my dream seats for a couple days... I'm way too tall for the them. So, they've been passed off to another member.

So, I'm updating this. Miata has just been getting the daily abuse, I decided to show the paint some love a little too late. Clear is separating bad now on whatever the sun has hit.

I took the car in to get smogged and after the wait smog attendant says "Well, you failed." Tells me it's because of the intake after the AFM. You see, I had the RB elbow to an ARC chamber. They're both metal, the CARB EO# is on the bracket that goes between both pieces and the paperwork I handed him for the RB elbow doesn't mention where it begins and ends, so I thought I could sneak by. He had come back to me with a printed picture of the intake he pulled from the internet, dude wen the extra mile to fail me, even though it passed on emissions numbers. Anywho, he said if I had the stock pipe I could swap it back in and pass, so I did the same day, then he runs the full test again and gives me the pass. Set for another 2 years.

While I was doing that swap, I damaged my old and fan thermo switch

so I bought a new one form Moss Miata for super cheap and installed it this morning when I put the ARC back in. NBD

The garage is looking cramped! Did I tell you all that I live with JonB now? I actually bought another BRG a little while ago, for very cheap, to clean up and flip. It was a fun little project. Hopefully it will be gone soon to a new owner in San Diego.

So of course I made the garage more cramped with the addition of a 2012 Triumph Street Triple R. It features a pair of Arrow titanium cans, Brembo adjustable front brake lever/master cylinder, ASV adjustable shift lever, a Daytona 675R rear Ohlins shock, along with some other minor bits. It's a joy to ride.

But, back to the miata. I custom ordered some mirrors and am super stoked with how they came out. I've been wanting water flower mirrors for a long long time, but their $1000-2000 price tag for the 1 pair and 1 single mirror I've ever seen on YJA kept them out of my hands. These were a bit cheaper and because I got to choose every option of their essence, it makes them very dear to me.

An adapter is being drawn up by my good friend Jeremy (artcentermiata), as with his 3D printing experience, technical/art background and OCD, he's basically the only one I would trust with this work. I sent him some measurements:

Remember when I rolled my last car? Well, these two finally got some paint (not pictured) from a shop called Hermes Performance. So I'll have to install them soon and get some pictures I guess.
