    New shoes. HP+

I learned my wax is flammable and apparently very hazardous.

I promptly made my rotors fabulous.

    By doing stuff like this

There's like 2 miles of dirt road heading into/out of the track. We call it the rally stage, it's always a good time if you ignore the washboard by driving fast enough or practicing your manji skills. Because I waxed my car the day before, I got a perfect gradient of dirt, as pointed out to me by a friend. Thumbs up.

Track photo credit goes to Forrest Eames and Bench Espiritu!

A lot has happened since the last post, but then again, not so much. Sharks came off in favor of MKIII's for daily tire duty. Drove to Kenjo's shop and played team SSR.

MKIII's got put up for sale, should be going to a close friend of mine who just sold his NA and picked up an NB. My softtop ripped along the window completely, so I sold it for a buck and have been living topless for a couple weeks, even though it's been 90+ degrees the entire time. I just haven't wanted to put the hardtop on. Once I ripped the softtop out I planned to clean the deck carpet:

    Before

    After

    Before

After (omg, this deck is pristine)

I also got bored of my black floor mats, I've wanted tans ones for a long time. For an even longer time I've wanted tatami floor mats, but real tatami is expensive, so I bought this stuff at Daiso for $2.

    Tadaaa

It wasn't very good for driving with, but they look pretty, so I took them out. I'll probably use them at a show. Fade to black.

Found this today, read through most of it while I was on lunch. If my NA turns out to be half as nice as this car I'd be happy.

FWD, I am so jealous! I want a Pit Crew center mount. And I heard your clip on the exhaust thread.

Yes, pitcrew. Thanks guys It sounds pretty fantastic, deep and rumbly down low with a bit of rasp from the hollowed cat, and it screams up top. I had heard that Tim Allen's was the loudest exhaust many people ever heard on a miata, mine doesn't seem to suffer from that. It's definitely louder than my Racing Beat, but very liveable.
