I like all the cleaning and detailing of things in the cockpit, keep up the good work!! I think I get all my crazy detailing skills from being in the NAVY, that is like 50% of your job while underway at sea, nothing to do, find something to clean. Field days, greenie meanies, GP cleaners, polishing brass, toothbrushes for detailing, I used to hate it, but it comes in handy when cleaning up my cars.

Oh and the Nardi Wheel looks great in there!!
Understood, thanks Phat! I couldn't even figure out how to get the radio out yesterday, I was fighting with that thing for awhile until I ripped the face by accident and learned that the face is actually supposed to come off. That gave me the clearance I needed to reach the a/c knobs with my screwdriver. So I'll try to disassemble that mess again later and see what I can do about those tabs.

Both of them have some scratches. My low quality phone photos hid all of that, but you just had to ask questions I used Mequire's quick detailer (that's designed for cleaning up bird poop and stuff without washing), it did make the raw plastics a bit sticky but the painted surfaces were still smooth to the touch IIRC. It's just because of the compound I believe, I should probably go back and hit those with water. Says it clearcoat safe and is designed for use on paint, so I hope it will be fine.

Oh, I missed a photo! I wouldn't have taken off those A/C knobs if I didn't have to

I think I have a factory cage somewhere? Not sure if its NA6 or NA8 though? Ill go check the garage this weekend.

Or if you want to run an aftermarket head unit then get with Rick at www.RoadsterTech.net he also has a NA6 dash in his personal Miata, and has owned his Miata since 1990 hahahaa he can make a custom radio rack to whatever specifications you want. His newest creation is the Laser cut Stainless Steel Rails for aftermarket head units.

Order a 1996 Eunos Roadster radio surround. The radio surround is slightly larger for normal radio sizes.

    Standard 1993 1.6 Radio surround

Why does California have to be so far away from the East coast?

On another note, the car is coming along nicely!!!

Quite a few people at the meet told me they want them. I may have promised them to Spencer, I really don't remember haha. If not then they'll go up for sale soon.

Thanks! I didn't know we had more KINOD attendees here. I don't believe I've met you or tanakapz in real life. I'll have to look for pictures of your cars.

This thread is a bit out of order now, but I'm dumbing my camera's memory card. Here's the car as I picked her up. Dirty.

    Interior is in good shape

Junk in the passenger side drain area. In addition to CAH I found some Magic the Gathering cards

    Engine bay is dirty

Under the BMC was EXTRA dirty

Washed and wheels installed for KINOD 8

    RyokuRob

    Andrew's Arios
