    Doors off!

    Interior stripped.

Removal of some junk from the trunk!

    The wound stitched. 8)

The plug work for the front end is well underway. It looks ridiculously tall....dimensions have been triple checked and it is spot on!

The inlet to the heat exchanger assembly. If all goes to plan the chassis will be at painted by the end of next week ready for assembly.

I can't wait to hear this beast of an engine again!

T-minus 31 days and counting to WTAC 2014.

    Cheers,
    Danny

Work on the front end has continued with progress on the skin for front bar plug.

More progress on the door moulds....

    ....and the side skirts.

The first mould (rear clip) is completed and ready for the composite work to begin.

Back at my premises work on the chassis continued with the diet completed.

The front anti-roll bar brackets were positioned....

    ....and welded out.

The air-jack tubes have been fitted and welded out.

    Engine and gearbox out!

Back on rubber and ready to go to paint!

Rubbed and undercoated....in super fast time by Mayne Paint and Panel!

It's not the correct paint code anymore!

It should go quite well with the carbon fibre panels.

    Cheers,
    Danny

    That paint is gorgeous !!!!!

Those door panel and fender flare molds are insanely cool too!! Any plans to sell those in production? I know a few guys that have V8 engine swaps that would like something like that!

Thanks. At this stage I'm not sure. However, the carbon doors and hardtop will go into production.

    Cheers,
    Danny

    Quick update....

The wiring looms are just about finished. This is the engine loom.

This is the ignition circuit loom.

    At its bare minimum...

...and so the assembly begins with the diff.

    Cheers,
    Danny

    That's great news!!

Any plans for NA (MK1), or NB (MK2) doors or hardtops? I would think there would be more demand for those cars.

Not at this stage as there are companies in other countries already offering these products.

Just over 2 weeks to go until WTAC 2014....still plenty to do....so probably not much time for updates....for those of you attending WTAC 2014....see you there!

This is straight out of the mould...so still to be detailed.

    Cheers,
    Danny
