We always have Need-full things at RoadsterTech!

Thought I would toss up a few need-full things!

Antenna Delete Plugs... these are sealed and have a nut on the back to assure a secure fit!

Lever Nuts... Just say no to wire nuts!

Window Guides... These are precision machined from Teflon impregnated Delrin. All of the benefits of Teflon without the nasty habit of deforming.

See more about these and much more at:
    www.RoadsterTech.net

You may know me as RAB or BCT or Rick depends on where you look.

Rick, I think there will be a shopping spree next year with you. I say that because finances will be opening up then.

NB redesigned center console. Or center console- Airbag warning replacement/filler so I can fill that space with 4 switches. Universal icons and cut outs for those switches are welcomed.

    my plan for my interior:
It seems like the stock radio is gonna stay unless someone suggests a non-glossy black replacement. With min 2 eq setting and buttons!
Then the cassette player is going, so that leave that space empty for mods.
Then AC control unit, that seems hard to move...so I'm just gonna leave that there. (that is where I wouldve wanted a 3 gauge set to be. with 4 switches.
I plan to relocate the air bag warning light to behind the glove box/hidden.

Then a NB2 console if I can hunt one down or a carpet kit for the center hump.

Actually a good idea. I have a couple UKDM dual switch panels that replaces the USDM passenger airbag panel. I could send one to RoadsterTech to prototype if he wants and then sell the other one.

I especially like the universal icons or cutouts idea. I can put switches all over the place but it sure would be nice to have labels or icons for them.

sounds like an Idea... I will probably make a relocate bracket for the airbag switch and light as well.
(you know for liability issues )

For liability reasons I would not get close to that one.
Someone uses my bracket screws up the sensor and it fails in an accident..
no airbag... bad for them...bad for me.

To: AgentOrange: (forgot to hit reply with quote)

Ive thought about those EUDM switches. I tend to recall they were for seat warmers? (I disliked the icon, so never went thru with finding some). I still have that box of connectors and switches (lol) I used like one or two. And I'm hacking my cigarette lighter/BTN2 circuit to power gauges/power windows.

You see, I would just unplug stuff, but looking at the wiring diagram, it needs to be plugged in. Maybe we can find someone to post a way to splice a few wires, but for the most part, I am leaving that stuff alone. Airbag stuff scares me/i dont want to deal with explosives/safety devices. lol.

Yes, seat warmers, fog lights, dual seat warmers, dual fog lights, etc. you could use generic switches to do whatever you want. They don't have to be OEM Mazda switches. I even found a nice black on/off switch at ACE Hardware's boating section that fit nicely.

This would be the dimensions RoadsterTech would have to work with if he wanted to undertake it. Switch icons would be great too.

Yes, the airbag switch has to be plugged in but it would be easy to remount the electronics into a plate on the side of the console or even into a small blank switch plate that fits one of the two slots. The wiring isn't scary. There are only six: two for dash ilumination, two for airbag-off light and two for the key switch mechanism to turn off the airbag. You wouldn't even need that key mechanism when a simple on/off switch would work. The UKDM panel even has a light socket on the far left that you could use to redirect the airbag-off light.

My current car has roadstertech antennae blanking plate and I use their wire terminators. I have also used their delrin window guides.

I can attest to A+ seller / person and product! (in case anyone was hesitant, they shouldn't be)

He even gave me directions one day
