Ehhh, I know what's out there. I'm looking for something cheaper/used. Not trying to spend $200.

They fit behind the stock door panels without modification? Could you get pictures of them?

Popped these into my BRG the other day.

$40 on amazon. Nothing amazing, but they do the job

geffrocks86 did you drill some holes in the door or do you have an adapter that fits behind the door panel?

    Thanks Anthony

Drilled a couple mounting holes, and soldered to the factory wiring.

I took my old factory speakers and cut the speaker away from the frame then drilled the holes I needed in the frame for the new speakers
Mounted the frame to the door without having to mod the door

I really don't want to drill into my doors, no modification.

That would be an adapter. Good idea, but my current speakers have an adapter and do not fit behind my stock door panels.

Just looking for used speakers that fit with no modifications guys! Experiment failed, at least everyone was kind in this thread, maybe I just wasn't descriptive enough.

if you dont want to "Drill" your door panels you could always make an adapter plate to sandwich between the door and the speaker. If you want to get custom I'm sure that RoadsterTECH could make something for you?

This boat is sinking. I have adapters, Phat. I just want speakers that line right up and bolt right in.

Best beat then is to check to see what they have done on Minkara pages, you know those guys are OCD about fit and finish, maybe you can get some ideas of what they are using there too. Its gonna be hard to find a set that is plug an play though. The OEM radio was Pioneer, and Panasonic, so maybe check all the options with those manufactures? Maybe, just maybe one set will line up? Just not sure how you are going to test fit any without purchasing them?

Clearwater is the only brand I know of that is plug & play, no drilling. Finding used ones might be a challenge, though.

There are many companies that do universal style mounts, that will bolt right into the miata (see picture). I appreciate everyone's recommendations, but this is just a WTB thread, not the audio section. I know what's out there, I know I can pick up speakers like this for probably $60 on amazon. I just want to see if someone has something similar, used, for cheaper that they know will go right into the door without any issues.
