The looseness on the base is my fault. I did a rather aggressive foamectomy and the metal rod that the hog rings are supposed to attach to is no longer there. Oops.

Has anyone tried these LE seat covers for actual NA seats? The quality/fitment looks just OK from the eBay ad.
