When I saw this two major decision has to be made. Ignore a pair of Tan Lotus Probax seats and kick the LE interior project off the side. So I have to switch gears to BRG completion because of these beauties. They are getting hard to come by. It looked like they were babied right from the start. The car had less than 13K on.

Amazing! If they weren't in such beautiful condition, I could see the Lotus seats being a nice choice (look great, although I never sat in them). What condition are the seats you are replacing?

A true purist would say you need the waterfall style found in the 91BRG rather than the bullnose style you have there. I'm far from a purist - those seats look great

Holy crap, I just learned something there! Thanks Martin... and I still can't believe how beautiful those seats are.

Yes I would trade these seats plus money on top for an equivalent condition pre-94 tan leather seats (waterfall) lol. But finding one on this condition will probably as difficult as finding a pair of original LE seats at a +9 state. Also the same reason why these babies sat in Ebay for awhile as I relentlessly search for other options including talking to upholstery guys then finally I contacted the seller and viola he cut me a deal I can't refuse, price of re-covering a pair of seats with a non-OEM tan leather. What I've learned from this deal is "do not be afraid to ask, just make sure your tone does not undermine the other party's interest".

Aye, I'm constantly keeping my eyes open for the older, waterfall, tan leather seats to replace the bullnose seats in Betty. Seen a few pairs on ebay, but they've either been too worn out or too pricey.

Still jelly of those, they're so damn minty.
