Review: Rspeed Dual Hood Lift Kit

I purchased the rspeed dual hood lift kit because I wanted some sort of hood lift kit. Apparently the miata hood is made out of aluminum so it can bend rather easily. A problem with some after market hood lift kits is that they only work on one side of the hood. Over time this bends the hood and it will loo funky both up and down. I recommend a dual hood lift to avoid this problem.

Installation was easy although the instructions left much to be desired.

It does its job well and I was able to remove the hood prop, so working on the car is now much easier.

I would rate it a 10 out of 10 and for the price it is a no brainer. Go buy one.

One thing to note I had to install the lift struts upside down because there was some clearance problems. It is actually a problem with the instructions as they tell you to do it the other way.
