Thoughts on first Top Down NC ride
Yesterday, it hit 45 degrees, so we put the top down on the NC GT. After eight years of driving a NA, I made the following observations: The wind blocker works better than expected. The seat heaters are a good thing. The jury is still out on the "open" positions for the HVAC. The NA has a more raw sports car feel, but the NC is a fine tourer.

2,000 rpm - light wheelspin, no bog here!
I think you nailed everything I was going to say when I saw the thread title.

My first ride with the top down, was also my first ride in my new Miata. I was suprised that the diffuser worked quite well. So far, the top is only up at night........

5,000 rpm - there be torque here!
Sounds like a joy to drive. The seat heaters alone, would be worth the price of admission.
