I think both are ugly. Actually, they are so ugly that they gave me eye cancer. Thanks Phat.

I wonder if you could also write on the car with a dry erase marker and wipe it off? Just a random thought.
I am thinking of wrapping my car. User MarbleGT wrapped his NC in Gulf Livery. He stated his budget was us$400.Thats a lot cheaper than paint. Also I don't want to paint a full color change on my Sunburst Yellow, but a change for a while sounds like fun. I see it as an alternative to Plasti Dip, which is another form of temp color change and the vinyl will look glossy and cleaner.
If I remember correctly the guys at 5X Racing wrap their race prepped Miatas .
You may know me as RAB or BCT or Rick depends on where you look.
There is a guy in my local club that plasti-dipped his miata in a nice blue color, it was only like $300 IIRC?
I don't have the link to his build thread with more/better photos, but here is a front shot.
You mean Chops on here? (think thats his username lol)
The thing with vinyl wrap is that if you have dents in your car they become even more obvious. Also, if your fender wells/underside of bumpers aren't spotless the vinyl won't stick as well so it takes time to actually get it to look good.

I looked at both vinyl and plastidip for my NB before I sold it. I was leaning towards vinyl for longevity, protection and finish quality. There are big differences in vinyl quality, so research it. Plastidip just didn't have the finish I wanted. While vinyl would take longer to apply, plastidip would take longer to remove...by far.
My research also gave me insight that replacing a panel with vinyl would be easier than plastidip (a non removable panel). If you watch some of the videos on DIY vinyl, especially a few I saw from England, it really makes it easier to understand how to do it and the amount of time it takes.
Autolinkuk have had a demo wrapped NB for a few years now.
