Review: AeroDramatics Door Handle and lock buttons NA Miata
These were offered back in the late 1990's by AeroDramatics, sadly this company is no longer in business, and these parts have been out of production for more than 14 years.
I wanted to show guys some of the older parts like these for identification purposes, hope this review helps out.
AeroDramatics had 3 parts, all sold separately, the Door Handles, Door Cups, and Door cups.
Here is a close up of the the door handles
here is a close up of the lock buttons
as all the parts are sold separately, you had to assemble everything yourself using rivets and a rivet gun. Not too hard, but you have to buy a rivet gun and rivets if you did not have one. Some of the earlier kits came with rivets.
Here is what they look like assembled and installed on your OEM Miata door handle bracket.
And then here they are installed on my miata.
If anyone else owns a set, please post up some photos for the rest of the members to see !!

3,000 rpm - starting to feel the power
It's been a long time so my memory is fuzzy but I recall KG Works used to have a chrome plastic version of this door handle that was fragile and used to break all the time. So Aerodramatics basically copied that design but in aluminum. Both levers are visually similar to the M2-1001 door lever but they are symmetrical as opposed to the offset lever of the M2 part (which is also very fragile). As I recall, AD had bad customer service, bad communication and couldn't keep up with demand. They eventually went out of business. I know more than one person stocked up on his product before it was all gone.
Today I believe KG Works has redesigned their door handle in aluminum. See http://www.kgworks.co.jp/eng/4c26-1.htm
Randy feel free to correct any of this info.

One is metal and heavy. One is plastic and light. They are otherwise identical.

One of these is KGW and the other is Aerodramatics. They are, for all visual purposes, identical.
