    Thermostat positioning on a 1.8l

Hey guys, I'm finishing a TB/WP change and putting a new thermostat in. Does the little port go to the top, or is it at 1 o'clock? There is an arrow on the thermostat that would lead me to believe it should be at 1 o'clock. I've searched the interwebs and there isn't consensus that I can find. Even the m site has people in opposing camps on this one. Anyone want to give their two cents? KFJ? Anyone?
