Duly noted, thanks man! I still need to pick up that carpet too, haha.

Oh man, it's been almost a month, I kind of forgot about this thread. So I went to Laguna Seca/MRLS, that was good times. My face was in the 2015 MX-5 brochure with KINOD. Borrowed a porter cable from Tkblazer, only to realize I didn't have any place to plug it in, went back to his place and didn't get to polish as much as I would have liked (ran out of time before micro polish and Meguiars 105 on the more damaged areas). But we did clay the whole car, polished with Meguiars Ultimate and I waxed it the following day using Meguiars Ultimate paste wax. Re-installed my Nardi, after a trip to get the car smoged (which it passed perfectly) and DMV. Then cleaned up the windows, tires, interior, engine bay, door sills and all that car show stuff the night before JCSS. Polished the mirrors and exhaust at JCCS because I ran out of light. JCCS was good times too, highly recommended, it's like being in Japanese classic heaven. You've probably seen these pictures already but I'm posting them here for documentation's sake.
After JCCS some friends and I hit up a Japanese place for some ramen and a Japanese book store where I used to buy all my Nostalgic Hero, Option2, Drift Tengoku and other magazines. All the books were red tagged 80% off. They're closed as I'm posting this, It really sucks to see them go.
I swatted a fly, it's dead, but so is my windshield. GG fly, GG.
But, JCCS is over! You know what that means? There's a bumper that needs installing.

Thanks for the JCCS pics, sorry about the window man.
Installed photos NAOW.
Also paint the center bar on the bumper matte BRG!
Thanks for the picture! I haven't seen that one before. And I'll have to think about it. Not installed just yet, haha.
So, I realized today that the bumper overlaps the fender ~1 inch. Had to drill holes in the fenders to mount the bumper properly, which made me nervous because before I did that it seemed like the bumper was very unstable. After tightening everything down I feel like it's more stable than the OEM one though. The light wiring that came with the bumper (user made) was kind of janky, it converts the 3 wire turn signal into a 2 wire, which causes the blinkers to blink very fast when the headlights are on. I spent quite a while trying to figure out another solution, got one and didn't feel like pushing through with it today after spending so long working on the car. The bumper didn't seem to quite line up right with the 5 mph bumper underneath so I ditched that, then I noticed the baby teeth looked ugly inside the bumper so I pulled the bumper off real quick and removed those. By the time I finished the sun had set. I always seem to finish working on my car RIGHT after the sun sets. So I haven't really gotten to walk around and stare at it yet. I went to take a couple pictures anyway, couldn't tell if I was in focus or not at night, here's a good one, because I know a few of you have been dying for this.
So much sex right there
I need the buffer again.
That bumper is looking good. I like it. I had the zoom kit on a roadster I have a year or so ago. Good bit of kit. Get some more photos up.

Hot damn that looks good.
I'd definitely go with Vegard's advice and apply some sort of mat finish/paint to the stripe/bar on the bumper. It gives a little bit of definition to the bumper while still maintaining the stubble/retro look.
Now, if you ever think of selling it; you know who to call.

Thanks guys, the comments mean a lot. I forgot to mention I spent 45 minutes yesterday straightening a/c fins and removing rocks/bugs so air could effectively reach the Koyo, as if it didn't already work good enough. Hit the front bumper with clay, Meguiars Paint Cleaner, Ultimate Polish and Wax this afternoon.
