Just a ratty '67 Camaro making a lot of noise.

So, my Camaro has been down a while. Mostly because I dragged ass pulling and rebuilding the steering box. Got around to that a week ago. And once it was back in the car and running, the pump started leaking. So, out that came and it was rebuilt. But, I noticed one of the brackets for the pump wasn't installed right, so out came the driver's side motor mount to get the bracket in place properly. Well, turns out that mount was toasted, the rubber had ripped clean in half. Several expletives were said and new poly mounts were bought today and installed.

    Anyways, finally, it LIVES!

This was actually shot after taking it up and down my road for a quick shake down. Plan to continue looking for leaks and any other problems tomorrow. And buy some new tires ASAP as the ones on it now are something like 8 years or so old and are dry rotted like a sumbeach.

It runs like a raped ape through 1st & 2nd at WOT.

I am in the middle of a 350 swap with a friend for his 87 305 camaro. we just got that thing to crank for the first time about an hour ago, and with open headers, that thing is scary loud. now we have a coolant leak with the intake manifold so we got to take that off. definitely a long time spent on the car with this being our first swap and his step dad hasn't worked on these engines in 20 years. you should check it out next time you come to Durham/Raleigh area for a car meet(knowing that you are a chevy guy) after Christmas since he needs an exhaust and only has 10 dollars to his name haha.

Looks way better at that gas station than just sitting in that garage all day
