Hey all!!!!! sold my 2011 Ninja 1000 moto to get the mint 2000 SE with 58k mi. my avatar...
my 1st car was a 1967 Triumph Spitfire that was awesome at 15 yrs old...yes, you could drive in Fla. back then; mid 60's at 15...cool...then I had a 1974 mint TR6 with over d and AC...ok,...back to current...I did 150mph on my fantastic Ninja...just sold...time to hang up the helmet...funny thing is, the 1000 and my SE both have the same crank HP ..140!!...So 2 yrs ago I had a mint MSM with full FM treatment...about 217 ish HP....sold it with 50K miles on it...don't miss it...it was great; but there were a few things I didn't like about it...Surprisingly I really enjoy driving this SE I just got...it literally drives like new, its supersmooth shifting 6 speed... and accelerates nicely...my 74 yr old PO was obsessive about care and maint...virtually everything is new...new oil, new air filter, new struts, new rear shocks, new belt, wp, seals, belts, new BFG gforces with nitrogen.., Alignment done.. new brake pads, new valve cover gasket, newer ign. wires, new plugs,.. newly cleaned egr, throttle body, all paperwork..its flippin perfect...a solid 10 all the way around...!!!!
So now I've got the mod bug...I already painted and mounted a trunk spoiler...installed new brass hinge in the console....Saturday I'm putting on an '01 manifold for the better breathing..hp...then I'll be putting on a RS 3 cat back...then an intake cam, 256?...!!!...then a front sway....front strut brace..
...and... well, you get the idea....love our miatas..... ... thanks for reading...
