Hello, finally got around to making an account on what is my favorite Miata forum! I am a member at a few of the other main forums but don't really post much. I really prefer the content of this forum as opposed to others so I figured it was finally time to join!
My first car and first Miata was a '95 NA which I learned to autocross in and kept pretty much completely stock.
Late last year I found a gorgeous all original '92 NA base model (with AC and stereo) with 68k miles, no rust, 5 speed, and in Silverstone Metallic. I had to have it. And so the mods started.
Built it somewhat following SCCA STS class rules, and though the car can hang in the top of PAX with the best of them, the car is also a daily driver, and I love the occasional track day. I don't have plans to autocross on a national level anytime soon. Also going for a sort of OEM+ Porsche "RS" theme.
The most important mods are an I.L Motorsport BBK exhaust, 15x7 RPF1's with 195 ZII Star Specs, and a custom Koni/Ground Control suspension setup with FCM bump stops, Flyin' Miata top hats, and 700 lb/in Eibach springs up front, and 400 lb/in rear. Racing Beat tubular front bar with 949 endlinks. And of course a Boss Frog Double Hoop, and a bunch of custom Revlimiter interior goodies.
