6,000 rpm - mere mortals would shift
It should be this Sat. I'm down for a Weds or Thurs meet.
Never got around to polishing the car. It was scorching outside by 9am, and the spigot on the front of the house is borked, so I'll have to wash the car somewhere else first, then bring it home to clay/way.

Tony, if you want you can bring your stuff by the house and you wash and stuff here. I have to do my Miata as well.

Cool. If I can't knock it out Tuesday (I'm leaving work at 1 for a Dr apt at 2) then we can maybe get it done Weds or Thurs. I just know this week is supposed to be brutally warm.

Anyone want to try a Friday meet somewhere? I will be working from home on Friday and then I get a nice 3 day weekend so I would like to get out and do something.

I'll be a maybe for that one. Might want to sleep in a bit and I don't know how many times I can look at the same Dodge Challenger group.

3,000 rpm - starting to feel the power
For the longest time i have been dealing with hesitation. Usuially when i shift from 1st to 2nd and all the way up to 5th my car would hesitate if i was between 4-5k rpm. If i tried to keep it above 4 1/2 I would not hesitate to much. Also with this hesitation I would get anywhere from 180 miles to 200 miles before i would be down to a gallon of gas and need to fill up again. I think maybe 19mpg. After looking and looking online for answers and belive me you guys know there is a ton of answers. I read somewhere that someone had my same issue and it was fresh after a timing belt change. They changed the belt but the timing was not adjusted. I purchased a cheap ebay 15.00 timing light and checked my timing tonight. My timing was looking to be about 18 degrees. I now have it set to somewhere between 11 and 14 degrees its hard to tell because i have a huge air tube in my way. After i got it all set and test drove it in the rain I seemed to have removed my hesitation. Time will tell on my gas milage. Andy i seem to remember you saying you were having an issue like mine so maybe check your timing. It only takes a cpl of minutes and who knows maybe your having same luck as myself.
