    Sierra tops vinyl seat upholstery...

I just got done installing the drivers side replacement upholstery. This is a fairly long process if you've never done it before(I'd budget 4-5 hours). The quality of the upholstery was nice for the $150 price tag. There are a couple places where this kit falls a bit short. The bottom of the seat doesn't attach in nearly as many places as the stock leather. The rear bottom of the back seemed a bit short so I use zip ties. You really will never see that. It's almost impossible to get it perfect. The end result is that the seat looks much better, the leather surface was totally destroyed.

IF you want a high quality finish job, I'd suggest stepping up and getting a leather kit professionally installed. Or if your seats are intact but ugly then look at a slip over cover like the Iggee.

It's a quality product at an entry level price but it isn't gonna look like the factory finish.

The biggest issue I had was with the indention where the seat bottom hogringed into the metal band across the seat. On the outer door side of the seat the metal strip was torn partially loose. This is probably why the bottom cover isn't a form fitting as it should be.

I just finished doing mine just using zippy ties. You need to line up the hooking tongue/point of the cover against the wires of the seat foam. Zippy ties is more involved but you can tighten it up better. You may need to u a steamer to soften foam and vinyl. I just use a blower but be careful not to over heat it. When it is warm you can push down and stretch it to fit better. The most that will take your time with use of a zippy ties will be punching a pilot hole on the vinyl or leather tongue in my case.

Inside the house the back was nearly perfect. Once outside in the garage where it's cooler the back puckered up slightly. I might try snugging down the zip ties at the bottom.

Yeah zippy tie the sides before you tighten the bottom like so...

the make sure the mounting part is properly aligned to the indention where the wires are then evenly spread the ties like so....

Looks good....where did you order from. Any reason you didn't go with a similarly priced ebay seat done in vying?

I got mine from Amazon. I'd suggest using zip ties on the bottom cushion so that you can reduce the chance of puckering. Us the hog rings to attach the edges to the bottom of the seat pan.
