Welcome! Any pics of your nb1? Plans for it? Lighter wheels with stickier tires is a good place to start and or suspension.

Thanks. yeah i have a pic but only one haha ill post it rn. Yeah, nothing to crazy, just thinking of going for a street/track setup to do some spirited driving. So just gonna do wheels, tires, suspension and a nice lip kit. At least that is the plan as of now. lol

wheels i got with the car arent really my style and a bit too big for my taste but its a start

Welcome, I like the color of your car. The miata crowd is big down there. I went to a kinod meet when I was visiting my relatives. Check out extremetrackevents the price is pretty cheap for a trackday in SoCal.

Welcome to the miata club, they are loads of fun to drive. This forum is a really good place to learn stuff and there are lots of good folks here that can help with any questions about your car.

Post your progress on the build thread, I always go there to see other cool Miatas. I'm getting a new soft top next month but a paint job is what my car really needs. I wish I had a garage I would paint my own car, to me painting is fun.

I spy Nel. Do you already know about the IE miata meet? If not I can ask a friend when/where it happens.

Welcome. I agree that your current wheels are too big for the Miata but otherwise your car looks great. Bigger is usually heavier and heavy is not good for a Miata. You'll find a lot of references to light weight wheels and lightness in general for the Miata while searching. Good luck with personalizing your roadster.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and support. I'm looking forward to picking everyone's brain on the mx5s . I'm aware of the ie miata meet but don't know times and date. I Want to get started with my build asap . I already have the parts I want to install in mind just need to buy them lol the only thing I'm having a hard time deciding on is a roll bar and if I want to do a bucket seat or a reclinable seat.

Only on Fridays! Today is Wednesday, don't get too excited. I got word on the IE meet, apparently it is also on Fridays, in Fast Laps parking lot, Ontario, across from Mills. Turnout is less than 10 people, so we have guys from the IE who regularly drive down to KINOD (it's much bigger)!
