    Plans plans plans

    Hey guys,

    I'm new to this group.

    Mum has owned 3 MX5's during my lifetime. I have been in all and driven one... Lovely cars....

    Mum and I have always wanted to build one up from a bad shape.

    Our current plan involves the creation of TWO MX5's designed for mountains, track's and Sunday drives.

    This will include a Gen1 Turbo with a built engine and LSD ect. Aiming for 170Kw overall

    The other, already nicknamed "The Monster" will be powered by a Holden 6.2L LS3 with a 2008 Malloo 6 Speed Manual transmission and Corvette 8.88 LSD in the rear. May end up supercharged depending on what can be achieved with space. Will be running wide body and 15x9.5 on the rears with 285's to hold the power. Overall goal for this will be a 10 second, 450+KW at the rears car for the drags and track and possibly road rally

    So I bought an RX8 because I needed something with room....

    Mum and I have decided that to comply with Aus laws and what not we are going to do a twin turbo 13B rotary drop from and RX7 or go custom with a 20B single big GTX turbo

    It would have to be a brand new custom built one because of emissions laws :/
