I think I'll have Sharka on jack stands for a couple of weeks. I've got a bad alternator, so I wanna change that out. I found a coolant leak that I've been hunting for months, so I'm gonna take care of that. I might take care of an exhaust rattle. And I might install my big-pimpin' FM fan kit since I'll have the coolant system open.
Today, I put him up on the stands and removed the battery. I then spent an hour cleaning the trunk area from where the POS Mazda wet-cell battery leaked acid.
Maybe a trunk spring? Or one of the little wires in the trunk on the passenger side? Or some bolt/crud that's gotten lodged under the gas tank cover?Originally Posted by Dilly

Replaced my leaking mishimoto radiator with a new mishimoto that was free under warranty (less $25 shipping). Holy crap removing the stupid lower radiator hose took me FOREVER! Dang thing didnt wanna come off.

Snow is gone, so took the car for a spin. Still ran like garbage, so I decided to put my other MAF on just to see what happens... And it ran better with it. True test to come tomorrow when I drive it to work. Got my fingers crossed. I've been real frustrated about my rough running issue and would be ecstatic to have it resolved.

Swapped out a crappy alternator for a good one. I also greased all urethane suspension parts.
Adjusted the bends in one of my Rennenmetal brackets...
