wipers, fan motor, windows quit at the same time

I'm driving to work and the rain is coming down hard and my wipers and fan quit working. My windshield started fogging up (no wipers wasn't bad enough I guess) so I tried to roll down the windows a bit to get some fresh air. No worky. Luckily I made it to a Honda dealer and they let me use their service area to "fix" this. I assumed it was a fuse so I pulled the wiper fuse and it was fine. I pulled the power window fuse and it was fine. Just for giggles I turned on the key and the wipers, fan, and windows all worked again. WTF?

Now I'm confused. There are separate fuses for the wipers, heater, and windows. Why would they all quit at the same time?

I bet it may be a worn or dirty ignition switch. The ACC portion probably.

    Did the radio work?

Thanks for the replies. Yes, the radio still worked.

Ignition switch may indeed be dirty/bad. Starting the car usually takes 4 or 5 attempts. Click-click-click-click starter engages. Maybe these things are related?
