Update time!
Got a new wheel:
Immediately ordered a 2" spacer so it wasn't on my knees:
I while back I asked dann (rupewretch) to grab some things of YJA for me.
They turned up the other week.
Matches well with the MX-5 club key-ring:
Picked up a GT2554R:
I took it apart to take the exhaust housing to an engine shop to get the flange holes drilled out a bit to fit the exhaust manifold. The turbo manifold went to the shop as well, turns out it's pretty bent and is in need of machining. But that's all part of buying second hand parts of unknown origins.
Nice find on the Moto Lita, it looks great! You have a time frame for the turbo setup?

Thanks greasemonkey.
I recently kicked myself in to high gear gathering parts. I'm only sort injectors and intercooler piping now. Then it's just waiting for a break to get it all done.
Clutch failed last night, thankfully right near my house, so looks like I'm getting the clutch upgraded sooner rather than later.
Picked up some MOAR SHINY stuff!
It was advertised as an NA6 cluster with a dash cover, for far less than it's actual value. It needed a good clean, but that's half the fun.
Couldn't be happier.

Wow what a score on the cluster! Are those Revlimiter's Warbird gauges? I know shipping from the states is costly.

Yes they are indeed. The picture is installed on my original cluster, the cluster the kg works panel came on was just a boring NA6 stock piece.
I recieved it looking like this:
You can keep the oil pressure gauge from the NA6, get a sender, and have actual working gauge. Adam's has a guide somewhere...

Exactly what I was about to say! I typed all that up and then before i clicked on post reply, I read your response and realised you said it already!
NA6 oil pressure sender and NA6 oil pressure gauge, retrofit it into your NA8 cluster and voila! You have a working oil pressure gauge!
Here's the guide :

NA6 Oil pressure sender OEM part number : B61P18501
Fantastic idea guys. Will try and source one on the cheap, would be great to have a functional gauge.

Hands down my favorite bumper for an NA. I actually just want an NA to get that bumper put on haha Great build! Loving the red leather.
My girlfriend got a new camera lens so although I have no idea what I'm doing, I gave it a red hot crack anyway.

Great pics! I spy a turbo in the engine bay but no post about it being installed?

I actually drove through Syd with this thing on the way back from NitroDann, it was such a rushed trip I didn't get a chance to contact any of you NSW guys for a hangout. Would love to meet yourself (and your work of art) as well as Bear (owner of Snowie) and Speed (Supercharged red NA6).
If you're ever down here, with or without your 5, shoot me a PM!
Thanks Greasemonkey, yes, a bit rude of me!
The car went up to NSW on a truck (10 hour trip) to see Australia's resident MX5 nutcase, NitroDann. He fabbed an exhaust and intercooler setup for me as well as tuning the whole package. I flew up and drove it home about a month ago. Absolutely loving it, the extra torque from the tiny Ball Bearing turbo made the highway cruise back down to Melb effortless and appropriately wooshy.
I'll get the build photos up ASAP
