What did you do to your NA today? 2016 version

I don't know if it's OCD or Teutonic genetics. It's like a calm before the storm, idle hands, or some other cliche...

That and I priced new HLAs. The valve train has some of the most expensive parts of a rebuild, I figure reconditioning some extra parts gives me some opportunity to cherry pick the best parts in my collection and put that saved money somewhere else.

    Undiagnosed OCD and ADHD here.

    A Homer moment from me:

"I don't need no stinkin' meds! Just give me crap to work on and leave me alone so I can cuss in peace! If I needed a supervisor I'd request one that could answer my question!"

Sometimes beer-thirty doesn't come soon enough!

    I finally fixed my horn!
My clockspring had been broken for about a year and a half, and I had to have a working horn to pass inspection this month. So I got busy replacing the clock spring, and soldering up some wiring to get the horn button connected to the clocksprings connector

Crashed into the back of a truck a month or so ago. Finally replaced the hood. I was going to full polish but decided to engine turn it instead. Not many out there like this. Put the Borbet type a's on, real Borbets from '87, not reps, in a 9" square fitment. Cut bumper, mud flaps, exhaust,GC sleeve kit, ect, ect.

Doesn't show up in pictures for crap but looks good in person.

Have since put the Momo Super Indy back in and traded the Personal Fitti 3 to a buddy for and old Dino leather wheel.

Took the lazy way out and had the brakes done by dealer since I had vw credit ( vw/mazda dealer takes care of all 3 cars, helpful... sometimes) drew the line at having them replace VC gasket and CAS o-ring. For 200+ i will do it myself, F-you very much.

Installed new cowl weatherstripping, new engine bay ground straps, removed the JICs in the rear, and replaced them with Xidas.

Aaaand I lost a center cap on the way to work this morning

The BBS wheels are significantly lighter than the Panny "ultra lights" and I think I can feel a difference. Not night & day difference, but the railroad tracks I cross every day didn't seem as jarring. Yeah, I live "on the wrong side of the tracks"

Demon, the black car does ride pretty high, the silver still has the jack under the it

The silver one was what I was referring. NB's at stock height on 15s look like rally cars
