    Greetings from Florida

    Hello all!

    I've been a "car guy" for many years, and I've admired Miatas/MX-5s since I saw the first NA, as I had admired MG's and Triumph's as a kid. (Yeah, that dates me, though I was gassing up next to a real pretty MG just yesterday.)

    But it wasn't until I saw the ND that the MX-5 jumped way up on my "I want that car!" list. So now I'm surfing Miata boards to see what people are doing that is fun, and what mods may be right for me, given that I'm not really interested in competition, just fun and great handling.

    But this thread needs pictures. This is my MX-5, there are many others like it, but this is mine.

    Welcome! You already have the lingo down by using the model designation "ND." I don't know that we have a lot of ND participation yet but it is growing and we do have a lot of knowledgeable Miata owners. This is a very friendly place so feel free to ask questions and browse the forum for ideas. Thanks for the pic. She looks great.

    I don't have to have my arm twisted too hard to post a couple more shots of my new favorite toy.





    I went to the dealership sorta thinking about red. The "little red sports car" thing, but I'm a sucker for black, and my last five or six have been black. And there was a black Club sitting right next to the red one.

    Before anyone gets offended, the red looked mighty hot! But in my gut I knew that next year I wouldn't really wish I'd gone with another color if I brought the black beauty home now. I might wonder, but...
