    Diagnostic help

Hey guys, my 91 Miata is giving me a little trouble. After driving, when coming to a stop, it chokes itself out. I have to wait until the revs drop to about a grand and then blip the throttle. After that, it idles fine. I'm thinking a vacuum leak?

Sounds like it, grab a can of starter fluid and start checking around.

Check you timing and idle adjustment.
Unplug the IACV and see if that helps.

Even though you skipped your intro thread, at least check in on your help-requested thread once in a while.

Okay, so the other day, I came to a stop and just let it die. When I started it back up, it didn't do the idle drop thing. It doesn't do it all the time either. Sometimes it runs like normal

I'd wager on a dirty/malfunctioning idle air control valve (IACV). My other suspicion would be loose/dirty grounds, or a bad, corroded electrical connection.
