For the life of me, I can't find any button on this site to create a new thread (I guess I'm just an idiot), so I'm going to post this here. If a moderator wants to move this to a new thread, that's fine. Anyway...

I came across this on YouTube. Anyone else seen this yet?

So I re-plumbed my air-oil separator/catch-can using brake-line tubing. Not a perfect job, but it got the hoses out of being all over the place.

I put Hawk brake pads on my car several months ago and, while they grab hard and stop the car on a dime, they squeal like a tortured pig and cover my wheels in dust. The dust I didn't mind so much, but it really got annoying having to hear the ear-piercing screeching every time I stopped. I decided to invest in ceramic pads from Moss Motors and did the change today.

I already installed new rotors and steel-braided lines when I installed the Hawk pads, so since everything was fairly new, I only had to install the new pads this time, which didn't take too long.

After the install, I took a drive. At first I was cringing every time I stopped, expecting to hear the annoying squealing which never manifested. It's now wonderful to drive. I do have to say that these pads inspire less confidence after having used the Hawk pads, but they work fine (just not track-worthy). Overall, I'm very pleased.
