Saturday was spent watching 24 Hours of Le Mans and doing a dash swap.
Before shot. I couldn't stand the look of the NA8 dash by this point, and could not wait to get rid of it.
Swapping the wires.
Wires zip tied tight, new rubber foam seal installed near the windshield, and mirror control module relocated with 3M double-sided tape. NA6 dashes have 1 less accessory port, so it was either this or extend the wires into the glovebox. Mirrors will probably be changed at some point anyways so no reason to go overboard. VIN swapped.
No dash. You can see the old seals on the vent control box unit thing.
Seals removed and replaced with rubber foam.
Aaaaaaaaand voila.
Love it love it love it. Oh and I forgot to mention the 2011 Prototipo. Love that too. I mean the interior has a COMPLETELY different vibe to it now, definitely my favorite modification to date.
Only thing I'm not pleased with is the glovebox. See that crooked gap? Not cool. I'll try to adjust it some, but I'll probably end up putting some rubber weather seal on the edge. I also need another interior light for the drivers side, or a plug.
