Sucks about the ex and the alternator. But stoked that you're back and you've got a new girl and car will be fixed!

I've not seen an alternator with that much... patina? ever.

Good luck, Corey! On to the next stage of your life.
Great to see you *back* and can't wait for you and Lobo to take advantage of that garage!!
Sorry you've had trouble, but glad things are turning around. Nice garage, but it looks "too" clean if a garage can be too clean?
Thank you.
I really need to try to be more active.
So I picked up the alternator and was amazed that it was the same one dropped off the week prior.
I got Lobo home. And then the next day I noticed that my driveway had a leak spot I didn't remember being there.
So I looked under and noticed something pretty not great.
I'm missing a majority of my trans bolts and clearly leaking quite bad.
Slave shows bad leaking as well.
So this is where Lobo sits.
I've pulled out the driveshaft and exhaust. At this point it's just removing the rest of the trans bolts, the starter, slave, and PPF bolts and dropping it. I've just been busy doing other stuff.
I'm assuming when we did the clutch job, we forgot to tighten the trans since we did clutch/exhaust/oil drain/turbo/diff all in one day. And I think the vibration caused the rear main to go, and maybe my trans seal too. I won't know until I actually pull it.
But before I work on it some more I want an organized garage. So I bought some shelves.
BeforeNote I had already built and filled two smaller shelves at this point.)
Currently: (Only built the shelves, haven't organized.)
The two are 48"wX48"hX18"d and the three are 77"hX48"wX24"D. Maybe overkill but I will love it when everything is off the floor and organized.

Looking good. I do need some of those to. Got too much stuff laying around and what overkill, a man cannot have too many workshelves!

Ok. Starting to take advantage of the garage? Check. Now what's the ETA on getting Lobo back up and running?
So. After a wonderful trip to MRLS, and driving Bucky 2500 miles, I found motiviation to work on Lobo. It's been on jacks for over 3 months.
So I got to work and pulled the trans, clutch, and flywheel last night.
It's not pretty. NSFW ahead.
It's pretty ugly. But we're just getting started.
Here we have a hole, the size of a pencil eraser, that goes straight through.
And what looks like stress fractures all over the housing mounting surface.
Oil and grease coating the interior of the bell housing, the starter, and the throwout bearing.
The rear main
And a leaky CAS to top it off.
