I purchased the Maxxis Victra VR-1 to try it out as an alternative tire over the R888 for my 15x10 Work Equips. I got the 245/40/15 size. When fitted to the 10" wheel, I was kinda DISAPPOINTED coz it looked like this...

You'll notice a bit of a stretch there. It was suppose to be wider in terms of size over the R888 235/50/15 I previously had. Before the 15x10 looked like this when fitted with the R888

In other words, the R888 235/50/15 looks "meatier" than the VR-1 245/40/15 in terms of actual fitment over a 15x10. However, don't get me wrong. This is just a "size" review or impression on how the VR-1 looks like mounted on 15x10. I have yet to test the "performance" of the VR-1 on track. That's another story to tell later.
But in fairness, the 245/40/15 looks stunning in my 15x8.5 Work Equips

I've driven these tires (VR-1) on the road and my first impression is that they are super comfortable even at 30ps (cold) to 33 (hot) psi. If that's the case at that tire pressure, I'm positive that they are even more comfortable at 27-29 psi
Also, when I say, there's a bit of a "stretch" I say this because the lip of the 15x10 pokes out a little compared to the 15x8.5
Again in terms of "size" I believe these tires can be fitted "squared" on a 15x9 wheels at most.
