Not much of an update but I feel good information for you all.
So recently I started to notice my lights were dimming, windows were slow and starter was struggling so that must mean battery is getting old.
So I started to do some research for a good replacement battery obviously an Optima would be ideal but I don't demand that much out of the weekender BRG. So I wanted something quality and affordable.
I was browsing the Honda Fit forums and randomly and coincidentally came across a forum on batteries and a guy said in his first Gen Fit he uses and NAPA AGM Battery called "The Legend" and found they make it in Miata sizes with the vents to be extra OEM+

PS: I know the vents are attached this was a pic I randomly took mid install because I remembered I need to take a pic for the forum.
Surely did the trick have been using it for 2 Days and everything is working much much better!
Sorry for lack of updates on the BRG just have been very busy

Do not apologize, Marco. There is still life besides the cars. Enjoy the hobby.

WOOT WOOT Update!
Nothing major just finally getting some time and some extra money to start doing somethings here and there on the BRG that need attention. Last night was such a nice night to drive around got a little cool out and I have been meaning to go to this little market at night because it has really cool lighting and was able to get some neat pics there.

The Porsche Restoration sticker is actually from a Porsche shop that offered to buy the BRG and I said "No way but can I have a sticker?". They even offered to have the car properly polished and waxed (at a price of course but it is a great price!) so the BRG may look even more BRG in the upcoming months.

Also broke out the cassettes because the Fit has spoiled me with Apple Car Play. I was listening to Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Soundtrack I highly highly suggest buying the first and second sound tracks on cassette if you like your OEM radio like I do this is a must has some really really good classics and has the vintage appeal.

And to top it all off the night before the drive I got a little package from CMC USA! The BRG needS new rear light gaskets plus I needed to do some interior mods and got a fancy leather corns strap.

I know I love it! Happy I can say my radio still works aswell as it does. I feel I am due for a speaker upgrade though so that’s somewhere down the line.

Hello All,
Sadly this will be the final update for the BRG.
The BRG has been sold to a gentleman in New York he is a car collector and has never had a Miata before but has wanted one very badly for many years. In NY he was saying pretty much all Miatas are destroyed and its very hard to find one thats nice.
Thankfully he knows not to drive a Roadster in the snow and has a climate controlled garage to keep the cars in and he has a detailer come by monthly to check up on the cars Mechanically and Aesthetically.
So the BRG will be preserved and also driven because he lives in a nice hilly part of NY and payed extra to keep my Ohlins and Sway Bars.

I am happy it will be preserved and taken care of and he said he would love to invite me up some time to see it again.
No worries though, I am looking at another roadster that is very similar to an older Miata of mine which will make for a very exciting build.

Sometimes you just have to say goodbye. Glad that you found a great owner for it. Now you can maybe find you won't feel bad about modding or getting dirty ;)
