    Engine Bling Picture

I finally got around to having the chrome intake that I purchased from Medition - Motor Guru - a while back installed. I thought I would show everybody how it turned out. Hope you like...

Very nice! Horsepower gains or is it just a chromed stock manifold, I can't tell?

And is it just an OEM styled filter in the chrome airbox?

My best guess is that there's a nice oiled foam filter in there.

That was what I thought at first too but I'm not sure because it looks very similar to an OEM airbox, just chrome.

Just took a closer look at the picture, that is a lot of chrome in the engine bay! Must be a pain to keep clean.

It's a ARC air box with a oiled filter, pretty rare piece. The intake is just a stock unit chromed up. And yes, I spend a lot of time polishing.

The intake manifold isn't chrome, it is polished! The guy that had it originally done had it professionally done, so it came out perfect. I can tell you based on personal experience that it must have been expensive to do because it takes forever to do it by hand, and I guarantee that some of the process must have been by hand, even the tight crevices were done correctly.

Side note, the picture isn't sharp, edit it to show the beauty of it, it is magnificent. Nice job! Enjoy it for a long time.
