Anyone have one of these installed? I was considering getting one for my 1993 Miata, just wondering if it makes any difference?

There was one on my '00 with the M45 that I just removed. Can't say if it makes any difference as I never drove the car without it. It is a very nicely made piece, given that it encloses the air filter and keeps most of the hot engine compartment air away from the intake I would say it makes some difference.

I've flip flopped on that over and over. I would also love to hear some feedback on this part.

I had one on my '92.

It made it easier to remove in order to get to stuff under or near the blower compared to the foam filter that comes with the kit. Can't say I noticed any improvement, otherwise.

I'd like to see some dyno evidence. If someone wants the lend me one, I'll dyno and post results! Haha

I had one on my car. Costed a fortune for what it is. Probably not hard to make something like it for much cheaper. That being said I might sell mine soon since I no longer use it with my new setup.
