Hi, new here, not so else where..

    Hi

Came here to see what's going on here.

So, I'm Samuli from Finland, Helsinki. I have had 3 own Miata's and from 9 imported cars from UK, 7 of them been mx-5's.

Had my first 1989 MX-5 -99, owned it long three or four weeks before it was stolen and destroyed, well had lots of friends wanting to drive and ride for those weeks. It was basic, exept the 15" five spokes on Goodyear F1's.
Live'd without one (had ae86 and three 944 meanwhile) until friend of mine bought shitty and rusty 90hp 1.6 few years back, he was one of those who drove mine and had to have one too, so I test drove it without preparing myself for car fever that is allways ready to hit and then to have my good night sleeps back, I had to have my own.

Found 1991 Eunos Roadster Mazdaspeed B-spec from eBay.uk and bought it dirt cheap from old chap who had bought it cos it was fastest of all tested cars and didnt have a clue what he was selling. So got mi self a fast, 50k driven, nonrusty Mazdaspeed with rollbar and other nice upgrades. Installed Sparco seat with belts, Toyo R888 and Fuji Racing ITB's with MS DIYPNP and headed to track'd and into tyre wall, in first trackday. Well fix'it, had lotsa fun with it for whole summer. But sadly I was forced to sell it

So now we have 1992 trackwhore with two of my friends. Basic free flowing K&N, mx-5parts header and catback, KAAZ LSD, TEIN SS re-valved for 12kg front springs and 7kg in rear, K&W ARB's, 949 bushing's, yellow stuff's and running 235/45 on 13x8 et46 steelies. Carbin rollbar keeping us safe untill we find time to do proper whole cage.

Usually I read miata.fi, our local forum and spend way too much time in mx5Nutz, cos its a great place to spot cars and parts (cheap jdm parts) to buy (no tax inside EU), some little time in miataturbo and used to read cr.net when I was in to the ITB's.

So, this should be the new and "free" place for all us 5 heads? Lets see and find out..

    Cheers
    Samuli

Welcome, I too would like to a couple pictures of any of your cars (old/sold/current) in your native land. Do you drive them in the winter as well?

    -Cheers,

    Thank you guys.

Here's my old Mazdaspeed at track, you can see the left front corner that I crash'd in tyrebarrier earlier on the summer.

Thanks for Jarppi for the pic.

I sold it to friend on our club and it now lives a full caged trackwhore.

Hi Jim, no I dont drive at winter, their mainly toys so they get to rest the winter. Would be fun, rwd and snow.

Hi Vegard Tires we now run are Kumho V700 (freebies) on steelies. Wanted to go as small radius as possible to lower the ration as 4th gear was useless on track.
    Oh, btw "nice hair"

I will try to find pics of our trackwhore at track.

    Cheers

    Thanks guys

Yeah it's properly whored. It's so loud cos obviously interior is gone that I cant hear my thoughts when driving it on road, on track it seems quiet.

Just ran into this for some reason and feel like whoring some pics, so here you go.

Picture of our old and sold trackwhore is gone for reason unknown, so here is a picture of it at its saddest state.
Standing in corner, forgotten and broken..

It was sold to friend of mine, Antti.
He then gave it the TLC it needed, sold the 13" trackwheels, raceseat, ARB's and the suspension.
We fix'd the poor 1.6 KAAZ LSD differential back to it's former glory with help of old guru.
He installed the interior back and gave it long needed polish.
It now sits proud as ever, running on GAZ coils, ROTA wheels and Toyo T1R's.

After 18yrs of dreaming of a Seven I got 1.7 Kent engine'd Westfield without a roof or doors and drove it for while.
Found it too dangerous and way too uncomfortable to use it as DD even at best of summer.

So I sold the Westie and bought my 4th Mazda or 3rd Eunos..

Here in pics together with Antti's car.
