    Miata Interior Lights

Hi everyone, I have a question about my Miata, the two interior lights ( the one that goes on when you open the door ) is not working on my miata. I don't have an owners manual with me since I bought the car used, so can anyone tell me how to get access to replace the bulb and what kind of bulb it needs for replacement? thank you.

These are the lights that pop into the bottom half of the dashboard, right?

You should be able to pop the cover off to replace the bulbs by gently prying on it from the top edge. I think the whole assembly just pops in and out of the dash as well, so you could also the assembly out to make sure that (A) it's plugged in and (B) you're getting power and ground from the wiring harness. And just in case you've overlooked the obvious (which is sometimes easy to do), you have tried the "switch" at the top, right? If memory serves, right is OFF, middle is door-activated, and left is ON.
