    VR6 powered Miata

Thought I would post a build summary thread of the engine swap.
This is the adapter a friend of mine made for Rx7 transmission to vr6
    image.jpg
    Engine and trans bolted together
    image.jpg
    image.jpg
    First test fit in car
    image.jpg
Engine installed solid mounted and custom built short runner intake
    image.jpg
Now had to address rear end used Lincoln mark vii due to aluminium center section with factory five racing axles with a space on the spline shaft at hub redrilled hubs to miata pattern
    image.jpg
Now to address braking used 929 master cylinder, corrado front rotors, miata sport rear and 93 RX7 front calipers modified spindle with new mount points
    image.jpg
Engine complete and running 325hp at the wheel
    image.jpg
Finished and painted with AWR widebody, racing beat bumper

this think must sound like sex! I love vr6s. I want a mk3 jetta with a vr in it as a daily. I would love to see a dyno run of this. Is that a 12v or 24v?

12v maybe eventually will switch to 24v. I will post next dyno run I need to tune for the new turbo and also may try a 7000 rev limit instead of 6000 just to be able to hold a gear a little longer

Well this is certainly unique. A neighbor of me had a turbo'd r32 with about the same (a)whp you have and that thing was damn fast already, it sounded insane too .

That was one of the reasons I did the swap and that they are cheap and reliable boosted
