If it makes you feel any better, I noticed the same thing after driving from Pittsburgh, PA to Beaufort, SC which was about 700 miles. I got lucky haha. Honestly glad I didn't notice until after I arrived.

Haha dang. Yeah, I let my car warm up with my spare keys about 10 mins before leaving for work.

On topic, I did weekly dose of adding coolant today

Little bit of this, little bit of that. Don't want to take away from my "build" thread before I post it there. I've been busy though, still don't have her all back together.

Replace the third brake light gasket. Old vs new:

Don't know what caused the breakdown of the old gasket.

Mine looked similar to that on my NA. Didn't change them last time around but probably something I should do at some point.

Changed my rubber boots and bushings on shifter. I only got a picture of the torn insulator boot. Shifter feels great. PO used the wrong washer and that's what was causing my shifter to feel like it was hanging up on something. Fluid was still there. Very gray but still had quite a bit of fluid.

    Here is the pic:

Got her running. After all I did nothing fell off, leaked or made weird noises. Clutch pedal isn't quite right, following FM's instructions has it taking up not more than an inch off the floor. Way too abrupt for my tastes.

Yeah. It's a scary thought. I went to the track that past weekend too...and I don't remember locking up my tires.

So I'm pretty sure I tracked on a corded tire.

Finished my break-in on the new clutch. First full throttle acceleration after that was sweet. Removed the 3M double-sided tape from my gauge pod as it didn't work out, drilled four holes and used some plastic pins I got from Ace since I couldn't find the ones that came with the pod. I don't like the four heads that are in view but couldn't figure out any way around it. C'est la vie.

Installed my new to me Borla single tip after running no muffler for a few months when my RacingBeat rusted off. Of course one of the nuts stripped so there was some cutting involved.
