I also love my OG sans. In fact, I think we have discussed this before.

My MX-5 Build - http://mazdaroadster.net/showthread....mrpham-s-build
I drew this Tombstone block off plate and had it CNC laser cut, hopefully I can make it into a kit for people. It cleans up the Tombstone after deleting the centre console, and relocates the power window switches. It's actually much easier to reach the switches compared to the factory location too.

Centre Console Update & TSI - http://omgpham.com/centre-console-update-tsi
Small update!
I finished up my design to relocate the power window switches after deleting the centre console. The switches are automotive grade and will include wiring harness using crimped connections. A revised template for the carpet will also be included and will cover up the tunnel and fuel/boot release levers. The panel is CNC laser cut from 1.6mm thick stainless-steel sheet and all supplied hardware will be stainless-steel too.
Testing so far has been very good, functions like factory (no auto feature), and I find it easier to reach than the factory location for the switches.
These kits will be made available shortly!
Below are some photos of the first prototype.
I now stock TSI kits, Turn Signal Intake. Replaces the factory light assembly, and provides a good source of cold air into the engine bay. The vents have both LED parker and indicator lights.
Not too bad hey!

Those window switches are a great idea.

Still waiting to get my head back from the engine builder, so no real updates.
One of the perks from organising a group buy of 40 Sparco Sprint V seats... I kept a seat for myself so now my passengers can sit in comfort also ordered a OMP 330mm deep dish steering wheel that shipped with the seats.
Some seat bolster protectors from MX-5 Mania are on their way too.

Looks great, lovin the steering wheel!
Got my diff back from the shop today, had the crown and pinion gears swapped out for some 4.778 ratio ones. They gave all the parts a good look over and set the lash adjustment.
Shop was Diff & Gearbox Industries in Wishart, he has a tonne of knowledge, quick turn-around and his price was the lowest (nearly 5 times cheaper....).

Today I started to remove my rear subframe to install my new NB one with. Has all the NB brake parts and the 4.778 1.5way LSD. Hopefully I'll have it all done by tomorrow.

Strip, Paint & Repeat... - http://omgpham.com/strip-paint-repeat
Late last night I found myself staring at my old rusty looking starter motor... Decided that it must be wire brushed and painted! Good thing that I already had all the supplies I needed to start working on it the next day.
The plan was set, breakfast, work, wire brush, clean with wax & grease remover solvent, lay a coat of primer and a few light coats of "cast aluminium" paint.
As I was wire brushing I realised how far my obsession with "clean parts" has taken me. There's a stash of parts that I haven't taken photos of either...
Nearly every single nut/bolt from the car was removed to be cleaned and zinc plated.
