I like the pull straps. But I'm just not too sure about not having an arm rest.
My door panels never had an armrest, just the handle. So it's not like I'll be missing mine!
Figured I'd follow up on my headlight duct lid:
Unfortunately, it was not as effective as I had hoped. There is too much distance between the ducts and the intake, so while they do let air flow in, there is not adequate circulation/flow-path to get the cooler air to the intake. All it does is cool off my cruise control vacuum pot. It should come in handy once I go turbo and relocate my intake though.

Would the rivets disrupt any flow over/through the duct?
I've thought about that too. It is possible that they may disrupt laminar flow (I think) and make the duct less effective, but I don't think they will render the ducts useless. The naca duct triangle windows that I had a couple years ago really flowed a large volume of air despite having rivets that attached them. I think that the duct is in a high enough pressure zone that if pressure inside the engine bay could be relieved then they would flow very well.

Take one old Pioneer receiver. Pluck off some knobs. No that's not a euphemism.
Shove them into your HVAC controls.
